The Pacaloy 300 Series Beehive Valve Spring Retainers are machined from 4130 Chrome Moly Steel. These lightweight designed retainers are Heat Treated and Black Oxide Finished. We highly recommend the Pac 300 Series Beehive Springs for most entry level and budget minded builds. While still heavier than Titanium Retainers, the 300 Series Retainers offer better strength and a lighter weight design when compared to other Steel Retainers. The PAC-R362 Retainers were specifically designed for the Pacaloy 1218, 1220 and other beehive valve springs using a .650" ID on the smaller end of the spring. These retainers are also designed to work with the Ford Modular 7 Degree, 7mm Valve Locks or Harley Davidson 7mm Triple Groove Locks.
