The Pacaloy 300 Series Beehive Valve Spring Retainers are machined from 4130 Chrome Moly Steel. These lightweight designed retainers are Heat Treated and Black Oxide Finished. We highly recommend the Pac 300 Series Beehive Springs for most entry level and budget minded builds. While still heavier than Titanium Retainers, the 300 Series Retainers offer better strength and a lighter weight design when compared to other Steel Retainers. The PAC-R342 Retainers were specifically designed for the PAC-1223 and PAC-1523 Valve Spring Applications for the Harley Davidson V-Rod Engines.
