"ESP" Forged 4340 Steel Crankshafts feature exceptional stength and unsurpassed quality at a reasonable price. These cranks are a non-twist forging and undergo a multi-stage heat treatment process as well as stress relieving, shot peening, and nitriding. The are also magnafluxed and sonic tested to ensure quality. Each journal is micro polished to a 3 or better R.A. On every journal, a 0.125" radius is used to increase strength, so chamfered bearings must be used. Lightening holes in each rod throw for reduced weight. The Perfect choice for engines up to 1500 HP! These cranks will not work with factory AOD or AODE Torque Converters. Designed for Internal Balance. Approximate weight is 46-47 lbs.
